Our Story
TrebleStep Academy in West Yorkshire is your gateway to a world of artistic expression. Our mission is to cultivate a love for music and the performing arts by offering a rich blend of instrumental, vocal, and theatrical training. Join us in celebrating creativity and talent.
Growing up in a fairly "non-musical" home,
I didn't pick up any musicianship or instruments until around year 8 at secondary school. Picking up keyboard skills quickly was what pushed me into this part of my life.
After taking up private piano lessons I went onto learning bass guitar, electric guitar and singing in private study.
Over my decade in music I have been fortunate to perform in venues such as The Savoy Hotel, London, play in many different genres such as cocktail lounge, classical and jazz along with work in musical theatre.
Having studied Music at Huddersfield university as well as Music and Sound for Screen, there have been many different environments available from performance based to recording based.
This is what led me to create Treble Step Academy, a safe space for both young students and adults to learn, practise and record no matter what session you choose. With over three years experience in teaching music and media at over 50 schools across the country, our guidance in music is practised and proven to be the best.
